Former UN lead scientist Michael Mann: ‘Tucker Carlson is both a climate change denier and a racist f#ck’
Michael Mann, a former United Nations lead author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, smeared Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson as being “both a climate change denier and a racist f#ck.” Mann, a Professor of Atmospheric Science at Penn State, tweeted his comment on September 11, following a Carlson segment “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” on California wildfires and the politicians scapegoating “climate change.”
Mann was a UN Lead Author on the UN IPCC Third Assessment Report in 2001 (which included his now infamous ‘Hockey Stick‘ temperature claims) and an expert reviewer to the UN’s Fourth Assessment Report in 2007. Mann has also falsely claimed he won a “Nobel Peace Prize” and was at the center of the Climategate scandal.
Mann’s attack on Tucker for presenting accurate climate information comes just weeks before the new skeptical climate film, Climate Hustle, is set to premiere. Climate Hustle 2 Set for Sept. 24 at 8 pm Worldwide release! Exposes agenda behind Green New Deal & UN Paris Pact. The film, hosted by actor Kevin Sorbo, exposes the myths behind the claims that man-made “climate change” causing more extreme weather, including droughts and wildfires.
Carlson’s segment on California politicians linking the wildfires to “climate change” was a brutal takedown of the unscientific claims of the climate activist politicians on the origin of the wildfires. Mann has been a partisan climate activist for years, warning President Donald Trump was “a threat to the planet.” Mann praised Biden’s Vice Presidential pick, Kamala Harris, on September 11, as “refreshing” for recognizing the “urgency of acting on the climate crisis.”
Tucker Carlson explained in his opening segment:
Tucker: “In the hands of Democratic politicians, climate change is like systemic racism in the sky. You can’t see it but rest assured it’s everywhere and it is deadly. Like systemic racism, it is your fault. The American middle class did it, they caused climate change. They eat too many hamburgers, they drove too many SUVs, they had too many children. A lot of them wear t-shirts to work and didn’t finish college, and that causes climate change too. Worst of all, some of them may vote for Donald Trump in November. And if there’s anything that absolutely, definitively causes climate change, literally over 100% of scientists agree with this established fact, it is voting for Donald Trump. You might as well start a tire fire in your yard.”
Mann has a long history of promoting progressive politics and he has been criticized by other scientists for his distorted scientific claims. See: Astrophysicist Dr. Willie Soon rips Michael Mann for his ‘pool of lies and deceit’ for claiming hurricanes caused by ‘climate change’
[Climate Depot note: Tucker could not be more accurate. Trump has been blamed for climate change for years.

In accusing Tucker Carlson of being a “racist f#ck”, Mann is joining many of his woke colleagues in merging “climate change” with identity politics.

Tucker Carlson: “Lawyers pretending to be scientists are now everywhere in the Democratic Party. Here for example is the governor of Washington state, Jay Inslee. He’s a proud graduate of Willamette Law School.
Gov. Inslee video clip: “These are conditions exacerbated by the changing climate we are suffering and I do not believe that we should surrender these subdivisions or these houses to climate change exacerbated fires. We should fight the cause of these fires.”
Tucker: So I mismanage my state, now it’s on fire, you’re required to give me more power. You see how that works. As a factual matter, this is a crock. These are people who don’t go outside, they know nothing about nature. It’s about ritually humiliating the American middle class for daring to elect somebody they don’t like. In 2019, [Democratic Presidential nominee Joe] Biden openly mocked coal miners. He suggested they get programming jobs once they are all fired, watch.
Biden video clip:“I come from a family where there’s coal mine, in Scranton. Anybody who can go down 300 feet in the mine can learn to program as well. “
Tucker: “Learn to code?” Hilarious. If Joe Biden should learn to code, keep us posted on how that goes. There is no time for that, the world is ending. There’s no time to pause and savor the deep layers of hypocrisy here. We are measuring our lives and minutes now. Last summer, Sandy Cortez (AOC) did the math on all of this and she calculated we only have 12 years left to live. [Climate Depot Note: Tucker is spon on accurate. See: Earth ‘serially doomed’: The official history of climate ‘Tipping Points’ began in 1864 – A new‘global warming’ 12-year deadline from Rep. Ocasio-Cortez]
AOC video clip: “The world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change, this is our World War II.
Tucker: Which raises the central question, what is a climate change denier? It’s anyone who thinks our ruling class has done a very poor job running their states, running their country, protecting the people they were hired to protect and watch over. Are we climate change deniers if we point out the state of California has failed to implement meaningful deforestation measures that might have dramatically exploded the spread of these wildfires? Does that make us deniers? …
Mayor of Los Angeles Eric Garcetti admitted on the record that LA has become completely third world, which it has unfortunately. Of course he didn’t blame himself for the degradation of one of the great American cities that he runs, no. He blamed you, you did it.
Mayor Garcetti tweet: “It’s almost 3:00 p.m., time to turn off major appliances. Set the thermostat to 78 degrees or use a fan instead, turn off excess lights and unplug any appliances you’re not using. We need every Californian to help conserve energy, please do your part.”
Tucker: You’ve got to wonder if you are able to go to his house, which are not, can’t get past the bodyguards you pay for, is he following these recommendations? No. It’s not about him, it’s about the people he supposed to be helping, the ones he’s now blaming. He wants them to suffer so that he and his fellow Democrats — even now as residents are facing sweeping power outages in addition to the wildfires, in the meantime Gavin Newsom has found 50% of California’s grid will bee based on renewable sources in a decade, that means sources like wind and solar power.” [Note: also see: Gov. Climate Depot Note: Tucker is once again spot on. Droughts are NOT getting worse: “Droughts have, for the most part, become shorter, less frequent, and cover a smaller portion of the U. S. over the last century,” Professor Roger Pielke, Jr. observed.
A 2015 study found megadroughts in past 2000 years were worse and lasted longer than current droughts.
In 2017, drought conditions in the U.S. dropped even more, as they were limited to only 1.6% of the continental U.S and California’s “Permanent Drought” came to an end.
Wildfires are not increasing
There is ”less fire today than centuries ago,” as scientists and multiple studies counter the claim that wildfires due to “climate change.”
The following is an excerpt from author Marc Morano’s The Politically Incorrect Guide to Climate Change.
A 2016 study published in The Royal Society journal found: “There is increasing evidence that there is overall less fire in the landscape today than there has been centuries ago, although the magnitude of this reduction still needs to be examined in more detail.”… “The ‘wildfire problem’ is essentially more a social than a natural one.”
The horrid situation in the west does not need weaponizing for political agendas facts. Far more acres were burned in the early to mid 20th century and this year is likely to be near the top of the last 10, but there is no clear trend that climate change is responsible pic.twitter.com/CVwQPrChpN

Forestry mismanagement is a huge driving component of these wildfires.
Astrophysicist Dr. Willie Soon: “It is their extreme policies of no management on fire fuel loads that is the real cause of this problem. It has been estimated that during the past between 4.4 to 12 million acres of California forested lands were burned each year. Between 1982-1998: California land managers burned 30,000 acres a year and the number dropped to 13,000 acres a year between 1999-2017. Can you understand the problems caused by decades of bad policies because of extreme anti-science zealots?”

Climategate’s Michael Mann Racks Up Millions in Climate Stimulus Funds: – ‘More than $2.4 million is stimulating the career of none other than Penn State’s Michael Mann…Mann came by his grants via National Science Foundation, which received $3 billion in stimulus money…He received another grant worth nearly $1.9 million to investigate the role of ‘env. temperature on transmission of vector-borne diseases.’…Both grants say they were ‘funded under American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009.’
Report: Michael Mann has received ‘almost $6 million for various predictions, models and reconstructions over the last 13 years’: ‘Note also the generally escalating grant amounts in recent years. A lot of that is from the government’s National Science Foundation and NOAA teats’
Mann v. Morano: Climategate’s Michael Mann debates Climate Depot’s Morano on Live BBC Radio: Mann: ‘Morano’s a hired assassin’ — Morano: ‘Mann plays the part of martyr very well’ – Morano: ‘It was very refreshing when, after the Climategate emails, people could see the collusion behind the scenes, with Mann & the other upper echelons of UN crafting a narrative of how they were going to, basically, have a partisan campaign to present the science and exclude people they didn’t like’
