CLIMATE SHOCK: ‘It is likely that the first half of 2025 has seen the FEWEST deaths related to extreme weather of any half year in recorded human history’

Did you hear this reported anywhere? Netherlands rations electricity to ease power grid stresses as it shifts to ‘greener economy’ – ‘Early indicator of what other European countries are likely to suffer’ trying ‘to meet the bloc’s ambitious decarbonisation targets’

Financial Times – July 13, 2025: More than 11,900 businesses are waiting for electricity network connections, according to Netbeheer Nederland, the association of Dutch grid operators. On top of that are public buildings such as hospitals and fire stations as well as thousands of new houses.
Dutch officials and companies said lengthy waits for connections were holding up economic growth and could force businesses to rethink their investment plans. Despite efforts to invest in new cables and substations, new connections in some areas of the country will only become available in the mid-2030s, according to network operators.
Although the bottlenecks in the Netherlands are particularly acute, analysts say it is a harbinger of what is likely to occur in other EU countries, as the speed of electrification increases to meet the bloc’s ambitious decarbonisation targets. …
The Hague has also put out a “more conscious use of energy” advertising campaign across TV and social media that asks consumers to charge bikes and cars outside of the 4pm-to-9pm peak, when the grid comes under greatest strain. …
Eefje van Gorp, spokesperson for Tennet, said that other countries should beware. “Belgium is in trouble. The UK is in trouble. In Germany there’s lots of trouble because in Germany all the wind is in the north and the demand is in the south.”
Must see: Global surface temperatures since 1880 — presented without the statistical hype

Temperatures for the whole earth drifted upwards in 145 years by only 1 degree – the absurd basis for global warming – the absurd basis for climate change. You know what has changed since 1880? ‘Green’ energy pundits mislead the public by using proportions. Solar & wind are not replacing fossil fuels on the grid’ – ‘Renewables mostly add to energy consumption. They don’t offset the use of fossil fuels’
Bjorn makes a great point. Renewables make up a larger share of global energy consumption today than they did two decades ago. That is true. ✅ But, “green” energy pundits mislead the public by using proportions. Solar and wind are not replacing fossil fuels on the grid.… https://t.co/GjSb8F50wv — Chris Martz (@ChrisMartzWX) July 4, 2025
The Fossil Fuel Subsidies Lie: Claim that fossil fuels receive a staggering $7 trillion per year in global subsidies’ is ‘effective’ & ‘DISHONEST’ – Solar received 205 times more subsidies – Fossil fuels ‘receive less per unit of energy delivered than any other sector’

Dr. Matthew Wielicki: The $7 Trillion Lie: How the IMF cooked the books to demonize fossil fuels and justify the biggest transfer of taxpayer money in history.
The International Energy Agency reports that actual fossil fuel subsidies, the kind you can trace on a budget ledger, amount to roughly $500 to $700 billion per year. And most of that occurs in the developing world, where energy affordability is a matter of survival. These are countries like Venezuela, Iran, and Indonesia, where governments hold down domestic fuel prices to avoid unrest. …
In the West — the U.S., Canada, and Europe — direct fossil fuel subsidies are small, targeted, and often phased out over time. In fact, most so-called subsidies in the U.S. are simply standard tax deductions applied to all industries, such as write-offs for equipment depreciation or manufacturing costs. …
By contrast, the U.S. federal government has handed out over $70 billion in direct subsidies to renewables just through the Inflation Reduction Act. And when you compare subsidies per unit of electricity produced, solar received 205 times more than oil and gas between 2010 and 2019. ..
The fossil fuel industry, despite powering over 80 percent of the global economy, receives less per unit of energy delivered than any other sector. …
But in reality… it is green energy that has become dependent on subsidies. Not to compete, but to exist.

POLITICO calls it! ‘Trump’s latest climate rollback makes it all but official’ – ‘We’ve lost the culture war on climate’ – Obama advisor: ‘The left strategy on climate needs to be rethought’

POLITICO – June 11, 2025: Excerpt: “Trump’s latest climate rollback makes it all but official: The United States is giving up on trying to stop the planet’s warming. … While the Trump-era GOP’s hardening opposition to climate action has been a major reason for the lack of consensus, one former Democratic adviser said her own party needs to find a message that resonates with broad swaths of the electorate.”
“There’s no way around it: The left strategy on climate needs to be rethought,” said Jody Freeman, who served as counselor for energy and climate change in President Barack Obama’s White House. “We’ve lost the culture war on climate, and we have to figure out a way for it to not be a niche leftist movement.”
Climate Depot’s Marc Morano statement: “Politico is finally calling it! The era of climate bullcrap is entering the dustbin of history. Our long national nightmare has ended.
No longer do U.S. citizens have to listen to politicians drone on about banning cars, meat restrictions, bans on home appliances, ‘carbon passports’ for travel, energy restrictions, clothing made from human hair, eating bugs, lab-grown meat, UN climate pacts, Green New Deals — all to allegedly alter the Earth’s temperature 50 or 100 years from now and save us from an unspecified ‘apocolypse.’
In addition to ‘Trump’s rule-slicing buzzsaw’, the most significant achievement of the Trump administration is how both the President and EPA chief Zeldin have reframed the entire man-made climate narrative and correctly labeled it what it is: A ‘scam’, a cult’, a ‘religion’, and a fraud. Trump was the first GOP presidential nominee since Ronald Reagan to understand how narrative control leads to policy change.
Bravo!”
