Warnings of climate cannibalism are nothing new: Ted Turner in 2008 warned that AGW survivors ‘will be cannibals’ & Paul Ehrlich warned in 2014 that ‘climate change’ will force humans to ‘eat bodies of dead’

2019: Cannibalism: Professor Says Eating Human Flesh Will Save Planet From ‘Climate Change’ – A Swedish scientist suggests that it may be necessary to turn to cannibalism and start eating human flesh to save the planet.

2019: Climate hysterics now push eating human flesh to cope with ‘climate change’

2019: Swedish scientist floats eating human flesh as solution to global climate change

But this humans eating humans is nothing new in the climate change debate.

In 2008, Ted Turner warned “global warming” will force humans into cannibals. Turner warned of the coming “catastrophic” climate change and added: “We’ll be eight degrees hotter in ten, not ten but 30 or 40 years and basically none of the crops will grow. Most of the people will have died and the rest of us will be cannibals. Civilization will have broken down. The few people left will be living in a failed state — like Somalia or Sudan.

In 2014, climate activist and overpopulation guru Paul Ehrlich also declared “climate Change” Will Force Humans To ‘Eat Bodies of Dead.’ Ehrlich claimed we will soon begin asking “is it perfectly okay to eat the bodies of your dead because we’re all so hungry?” He added that humanity is “moving in that direction with ridiculous speed.”

TED TURNER: Not doing it will be catastrophic. We’ll be eight degrees hotter in ten, not ten but 30 or 40 years and basically none of the crops will grow. Most of the people will have died and the rest of us will be cannibals. Civilization will have broken down. The few people left will be living in a failed state — like Somalia or Sudan — and living conditions will be intolerable. The droughts will be so bad there’ll be no more corn grown. Not doing it is suicide. Just like dropping bombs on each other, nuclear weapons is suicide. We’ve got to stop doing the suicidal two things, which are hanging on to our nuclear weapons and after that we’ve got to stabilize the population. When I was born-

CHARLIE ROSE: So what’s wrong with the population?

TURNER: We’re too many people. That’s why we have global warming. We have global warming because too many people are using too much stuff. If there were less people, they’d be using less stuff.

Ehrlich predicted: Humans must soon begin contemplating “eat[ing] the bodies of your dead” after resources are depleted. Ehrlich claimed that scarcity of resources will get so bad that humans will need to drastically change our eating habits and agriculture. Instead, we will soon begin asking “is it perfectly okay to eat the bodies of your dead because we’re all so hungry?” He added that humanity is “moving in that direction with ridiculous speed.”

& Don’t worry. Even if you are not eaten by your fellow humans after you die, “global warming” will still get you!

NYT: This week, we’re featuring images that show the varied ways that global warming has affected the world. Scythian warriors, like the one seen on display above, have been buried within the Siberian permafrost for more than 2,000 years. Encased in icy tombs called kurgans, many of these mummies have their hair, tattoos and leather garbs still intact, providing archaeologists with a rare glimpse into their ancient lives. But as global temperatures have warmed, the ice covering the tombs has melted, putting many of the frozen corpses at risk of thawing and rotting.
