Marc Morano, publisher of Climate Depot, called it “bonkers” to limit the U.S. focus on China to climate change.
“In doing so, we are going to completely kneecap the United States by continuing to shut down our energy and then turning it over to China, which by the way is building the equivalent of one new coal plant a week as America shuts down our energy,” said Mr. Morano on Fox News Channel.
The blinkered warmists at Gizmodo / Earther are besides themselves over reports that Fox News is thinking of launching a weather channel. What frightens them most? “If they bring on a denier like Marc Morano,” they write, “if he starts to get a platform there—that content is going to go on his website, it’s going to go into other right-wing media infosphere, it’s going to bounce back on Fox, it’s going to go on social media, and they’re going to push that out in moments when everybody else is saying, ‘this is climate change’–they’re going to be able to tell this right-wing media bubble, it’s not.” — Allison Fisher, the director of the climate and energy program at Media Matters.
Morano: "It doesn't matter what China does in any human rights violations and any other policy all that matters is that we save the planet. So, in doing so, we are going to completely kneecap the United States by continuing to shut down our energy and then turning it over to China, which by the way is building the equivalent of one new coal plant a week as America shuts down our energy. This is bonkers but this is going to the American foreign policy because the Sunrise Movement, Union Concerned Scientists, are heavily involved."
"It's absurd, everywhere there's a record hot temperature they claim this evidence of global warming" said Marc Morano, author of a great new book titled "Green Fraud: Why The Green New Deal Is Even Worse Than You Think". ... The real motive? Green, from the 'green new deal'. "This is what happens when you have people with a vested interest in pushing an agenda" Morano told KTRH, "Every single weather event is now more of a reason to push the new green deal. They're using the weather for their own personal lobbying interests, and we've seen this now for decades."
But it's not funny. Why? Because the next move? "We are facing the morphing of Covid lockdowns to Climate lockdowns" Morano said. "They're going to be limiting our freedoms in order to save the climate."
Reacting to a public health official from New Zealand who suggested that lockdowns could be used for other diseases or climate change, Marc told Ezra:
This is a lady who is like their communicator on the COVID restrictions. New Zealand is one of the countries who has this zero COVID [policy]. It truly is a totalitarian policy. It cannot be achieved without practicing totalitarianism. Not only have they practiced it in New Zealand, they've mastered it. They're not just out there practicing getting [ready] for the big game — they've done it. And she actually says in that interview, “in order to be a 'good society'” — in other words, you're a good person, a good society, if you support these endless restrictions.
They are ready, they are poised, they are openly talking about moving it onto climate.
Marc Morano: “At least these claims are more plausible than claims that building collapses or illegal immigration is caused by ‘climate change.'” Morano said the current global satellite temperature for June 2021 is below the 30-year average, and that in addition to the U.S. heatwave, there ongoing record cold temperatures elsewhere. “The media gaslight anyone who mocks ‘global warming’ on a record cold or snowy day but has no problem doing the exact same thing whenever it’s hot. As the University of Alabama, climate scientist John Christy’s research has found: ‘About 75% of the states recorded their hottest temperature prior to 1955, and over 50 percent of the states experienced their record cold temperatures after 1940,'” he said.
Time Mag: Global food production accounts for one-third of all greenhouse-gas emissions, according to a comprehensive study published this year in the journal Nature Food that looked at every aspect of food production from transportation to packaging. Meat production alone makes up nearly 60% of that total. The study underscores the growing consensus that in order to stave off the worst impacts of climate change, the world needs a dramatic rethinking of how food is produced and consumed...
Increasingly, companies and scientists are viewing insects as an environmentally sustainable alternative source of protein. Crickets, grasshoppers and beetles are already commercially produced and processed for human and animal consumption. Ynsect, a 10-year-old French company, is focused on mealworms, the larval stage of beetles.
Ynsect co-founder and CEO Antoine Hubert: "We are not far from reaching tipping points where then things get worse and it cascades and waterfalls—you can’t stop it anymore. Time is very critical...There is a huge need to reduce our consumption of beef. We should keep beef consumption, grazing, on a smaller scale with high levels of fresh products. But everything that is a processed meat should be 100% replaced at some point by alternatives. Insects will be a part of the answer."
