Watch: Biden Adviser Cedric Richmond: We Need to ‘Pass Our Climate Agenda’ to Lower Energy Prices

EXCERPT:

RICHMOND: “Well, I’ll tell you this. I think that many people may say that that is a solution but we’ve put a solution on the table and that is to pass legislation that will lower Americans’ every day costs, lower their health care. If we pass our climate agenda we would lower energy prices for the average American family by $500 a month. We can reduce the expenses that they’re paying for child care which on average is about $14,000 a year. And we would cap it at 7 percent of income. We would limit the amount that people would pay for prescription drugs, insulin for example, we’d cap it at $35.”
