Calif. Gov. Brown uses ‘Climate Change’ to Create Totalitarian State—Govt in Total Charge of Your Life

Jerry Brown is your old fashioned, European totalitarian, a dictator that does not believe in freedom.  He is using as the excuse to control your life the canard of “Climate Change”, the scam that made Al Gore one of the richest men in America and killed the hopes and dreams of tens of millions American.  What does Brown want to do?

“California Governor Brown’s SB 32 law requiring the state to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to levels 40% below levels measured in 1990 is necessitating the development of massive numbers of new regulations and policy that will allow the state government to control and dictate virtually every aspect of Californian’s lives including:

  • where and how they can live,

  • what kind of jobs and businesses they can work in,

  • what kind of housing they can have,

  • what kind of car they can drive (if any),

  • how many miles can they drive,

  • what kind of public transportation they must use,

  • how many times they must walk and bicycle,

  • how much and what kind of energy they can use,

  • what kind and how food can be farmed,”

Can you think of any reason to work, get an education, think?  This is a Fascist/totalitarian utopia—but who will pay for it?  Like the Uptopian colonies in the 19th century, it will fail since there is no reason to work or create—land will go fallow, new businesses will not start, people will no longer travel, wonderful food not cooked—it will be little different than a Soviet prison camp—all using climate change as the excuse to imprison a whole society.  Ready for it?

Climate Depot response: It was never about the science or environmental policy:

EU Commissioner: Global Warming Policy Is Right Even If Science Is Wrong — ‘Regardless of whether or not scientists are wrong on global warming, the European Union is pursuing the correct energy policies even if they lead to higher prices, Europe’s climate commissioner Connie Hedegaard’s has said.’ — EU’s Hedegaard in 2013: ‘Let’s say that science, some decades from now, said ‘we were wrong, it was not about climate’, would it not in any case have been good to do many of things you have to do in order to combat climate change?.’

Flashback: 1993: Former U.S. Senator Timothy Wirth: ‘We’ve got to ride the global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing, in terms of economic policy and environmental policy.’

Hedegaard in 2013: ‘I think we have to realize that in the world of the 21st century for us to have the cheapest possible energy is not the answer.’

Flashback 1975: Obama Science Czar John Holdren Says Real Threat to USA Is Cheap Energy: ‘The threatened far more by the hazards of too much energy, too soon, than by the hazards of too little energy, too late.’

Flashback: UN IPCC Official Edenhofer: ‘We Redistribute World’s Wealth By Climate Policy’

Flashback 2007: Former Czech President Vaclav Klaus: ‘As someone who lived under communism for most of his life, I feel obliged to say that I see the biggest threat to freedom, democracy, the market economy and prosperity now in ambitious environmentalism…This ideology wants to replace the free and spontaneous evolution of mankind by a sort of central (now global) planning.’

Czech President Vaclav Klaus: Attempting to ‘control climate’ is as ‘irrational, arrogant and pretentious as communist planning that people like me were objects of for so many years’ -March 08, 2010

MIT Climate Scientist Dr. Richard Lindzen: ‘He who controls carbon controls life. It is a bureaucrat’s dream to control carbon dioxide’

Flashback May 2009: Eco-Nanny Pelosi: ‘Every aspect of our lives must be subjected to an inventory’

‘A planned economic recession’: Global warming prof. Kevin Anderson – who has ‘cut back on showering’ to save planet – asserts economic ‘de-growth’ is needed to fight climate change — Anderson: ‘Continuing with economic growth over the coming two decades is incompatible with meeting our international obligations on climate change’ – Put simply, for the wealthier nations, ‘the necessary levels of 2°C mitigation and short-to-medium term economic growth are incompatible’

Economic ‘degrowth’ proposed to combat climate change – Reduction in salaries does not lead to a ‘reduction in the level of happiness’ — ‘Policies aimed at effectively mitigating climate change through a reduction in economic growth and consumption of fossil fuels would have a monetary impact on the economy, but also an impact on the wellbeing and happiness of individuals…Dr Sekulova highlights that the fact that “the reduction in salaries in the two years before the survey, from 1,373 to 1,310 euros monthly in average, did not represent a reduction in the level of happiness.’

Sierra Club Touts Economic ‘De-Growth’: ‘We have to de-grow our economy’ to ‘temper climate disruption, and foster a stable, equitable world economy’ – ‘WORK LESS TO LIVE MORE’
