DAVID STROM The very idea that Klaus Schwab can command the attention of nearly every world leader at Davos, or appear as a speaker at the G20 meeting, is frightening to me. It shows how far down the road we are on this path to dystopia. He and his ilk are no longer cranks to be laughed at, but advisors to world leaders. WEF brags about having acolytes in every major Western government.
Nietzsche of all people predicted the development of the Davos movement. Peter Goodman of the New York Times coined the word “Davos Man,” but the originator of the idea was Nietzsche who coined the term “The Last Man.” The highest goals of the Last Man are peace and comfort alone, without the desire for achievement of great things. He wants to be taken care of. To…”own nothing, have no privacy, and life has never been better” as the World Economic Forum advertises.
Sapna Batish: "What if we viewed climate change in the same vein as the global pandemic? ... What if we listened to the advice of this doctor of the Earth, and swiftly, and drastically, changed our behavior, as we did when the pandemic hit?"
Paging Dr. Earth!? "Imagine we developed a wholly new graduate degree, called ErD (Doctor of the Earth), to train bright, passionate, climate-conscious people to care for the Earth, following the training of a medical doctor? This training could involve a rigorous standardized course of study and training, but of the earth and its systems. After passing a test upon completion of the program, the graduate would be placed in a 'residency program', to specialize in a specific specialty (food security, climate finance, etc.) or train to be a generalist, focusing on ecosystem health, like a GP."
Media Matters Excerpts: Two Fox News programs invited longtime climate denier Marc Morano to discuss the conference and link it to a conspiracy theory about the Great Reset.... The next morning, on Fox & Friends Sunday, Morano again fearmongered about the Great Reset at COP27. In addition to claiming that climate change is all about control, he also invoked the idea of lockdowns and the idea that global elites want to disrupt agriculture — also key tenets of the Great Reset conspiracy theory.
Also noted: Rachel Campos-Duffy stated that Morano “wrote a book about climate change and how it is part of the Great Reset. It is really fantastic, being very clear what this is about. Climate change is not about the climate."

Morano: "This is backward policy. Unfortunately more of an example of the western wealthy nations harming Africa by not letting Africa develop fossil fuels to get energy and prosperity like the west...The wealthy western nations tell them, you can’t make the same mistakes we did with fossil fuels. What mistakes were those? Long life, lower infant mortality, prosperity and cleaner environments as you get wealthier?"
“This is a way for climate activists, the United Nations and government bureaucrats to dig their claws into every aspect of industrial society by monitoring and penalizing producers,” Marc Morano, publisher of Climate Depot and former senior staffer on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
“They’re demonizing emissions to create a ‘net-zero’ world where human prosperity and economic growth are evil.”
“It’s not far-fetched to think they’re going to look at any human activity or industry as a source of carbon pollution … it’s a very comprehensive and frightening advance for the green agenda,” Morano said.
Notorious climate denier Marc Morano was pushing this idea as early as 2020, when he stated on the December 21 edition of Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight that the Biden administration will “go from COVID lockdowns to climate lockdowns.”
Greta claims we must overthrow "the whole capitalist system," which she says is responsible for "imperialism, oppression, genocide... racist, oppressive extractionism." There is no “back to normal,” she said.
Michael Shellenberger: "Greta's claims are absurd. The "whole capitalist system" has, over the last 200 years, allowed for the average life expectancy of humans to rise from 30 to 70 years of age. The "whole capitalist system" produces larger food surpluses than any other system in human history. And the "whole capitalist system" has resulted in declining greenhouse gas emissions in developed nations over the last 50 years. ... But capitalism is plainly better than any other system of economic organization yet devised. High levels of inequality are the result of more rich people, not more poor people, who are much better off under capitalism than feudalism or communism. The business cycle of booms and busts provokes manias and depressions, but it is much more efficient, and less oppressive than governments deciding what should be produced, by whom, and at what price. ... Capitalism is far better for the natural environment than feudalism or communism. Under feudalism, subsistence farmers rely on wood and dung for cooking fuels and must farm large tracts of land to produce a small amount of food. The industrial revolution not only liberated most people from back-breaking farming but also reduced the amount of land required, thanks to fertilizer, irrigation, and tractors. ...
Left-wing parties, from communist to socialist to social democratic parties, used to be the parties of the working class. Now, across the Western world, they are the parties of educated elites."
