Washington, D.C. – Power The Future commends Congressman Chip Roy (R-TX) for his continued efforts to stand against spending more than $750 billion in “Green New Scam” giveaways. As Rep. Roy correctly points out, President Trump campaigned on ending the Biden-era green handouts and the American people gave leaders a mandate to do so. Currently, most of the taxpayer-funded green handouts don’t expire for years, but reducing their availability can lead to immediate taxpayer savings:
“The previous administration allowed our economic and energy future to be hijacked by the green agenda, Congressman Roy is working hard to fix it,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “Working families should not have to foot the bill for China’s solar panels or billionaire’s climate dreams.
