Encouraged by his open-mindedness and seeming willingness to work for the people of PA, where we are throwing away money that could be used for things he wants to help with, like the homeless and hungry, I wrote this request to John Fetterman’s office:
Brief description: I would just like 30 minutes for you to look at the links between the increase in geothermal input into the oceans and the subsequent increase in WV which is directly correlated to temperature ( no such correlation exists for CO2 as it works mainly on radiative feedback that relies on oceanic warming to respond, it can not initiate it, nor can it “trap” heat). I just want you to look as you appear to be the kind of Democrat that the natural evolution of the party I grew up with should be producing.
Though I am on the other side of the aisle. it could be tough to vote against you now because you are exactly what we need. A good man with an open mind. ( added here: or so I thought) ( I chose Feb 2 as the greatest holiday on record Ground Hogs Day. ha ha. I spoke twice out there. What a hoot) But seriously whenever you are back in the state would love to show you this evidence.

So I tried to be good-natured, and yes, I had a certain idea about him until I got this:

Unfortunately, due to the overwhelming demand for the Senator’s time, our team has determined that it is not possible for Senator Fetterman to meet with your group at this time. Please understand that this is not a reflection of the importance of your concerns, but rather the unfortunate reality of the Senate schedule.
(what a load of krap. Suppose you can save the state billions and get rid of unneeded regulations, or at least divert money to the pressing issues facing the state)
And it’s not a group; it’s one person. So his leftist minions won’t let him meet anyone they worry could sway him.
Anyway, my response
In the words of Bruce Springsteen, in Backstreets. ” After All this time, I find you’re just like all the rest,” I Thought I actually had an open-minded senator who could look at things that have been hidden on this issue. But like the Boss said, “just like all the rest.”

His team? Overwhelming demand? My group? You mean to tell me the guy can’t spare 15 to 30 minutes for someone who is the most experienced private global forecaster on the planet from his state to see things he may not have seen before on this matter? And I said he could bring anyone. Have Michael Mann show up; I don’t care and, in fact, would love that.
So, he is not as open-minded as he appears.
And speaking of Bosses, when it comes to this perception that he is, I will quote the Who:
