Morano on Trump’s NASA chief Bridenstine: ‘We don’t need another Rex Tillerson’ on climate

Climate Depot’s Morano statement on Jim Bridenstine:

Morano: “NASA’s Bridenstine claims he read a lot to form his new non-skeptical climate opinion, but what did he read? He needs to read ‘The Politically Incorrect Guide to Climate Change’! It is packed with the latest peer-reviewed science to educate himself.

Bridenstine appears to be capitulating to the DC establishment, telling them want they want to hear. I have been fooled too many times by allegedly ‘solid’ politicians that they are ‘with us on the issue but they have to ‘play the DC game’ to get credibility. Let’s keep in mind, Bridenstine‘s first move was to invite Bill Nye to Trump’s State of the Union! Bridenstine said it was “an honor” to have Nye attend with him!

See: http://www.climatedepot.com/2018/01/18/bill-nye-the-science-guy-got-an-invite-to-trumps-first-sotu-speech/ – Jan. 18, 2018 – Oklahoma Republican Rep. Jim Bridenstine, the White House’s choice to head NASA, will bring Bill Nye “The Science Guy” to President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address at the end of the month… “It is an honor to have ‘The Science Guy’ as my guest at the State of the Union Address,” Bridenstine said in a statement. In recent years, Nye has taken to attacking those he disagrees with on global warming science. Nye’s suggested global warming skeptics should be jailed and that those who question climate claims would die out because they tend to be older.

Morano continued: “Anyone who purports to be a reformer at NASA, but invited and was ‘honored’ to sit with Bill Nye at State of the union is not on our side! I can understand a bit if Bridenstine ducked questions during confirmation, but why is he now capitulating on climate change? I believe he is essentially selling out to the DC establishment and thinking of his future career and he wants to permanently shed any notion that he is the dreaded ‘denier.’

Some have claimed that ‘NASA chief Bridenstine Outfoxes Dems On Climate’ (by reversing his skepticism), but, as I wrote in May, ‘We don’t need another Rex Tillerson in the administration. Politically calculated stunts like Bridenstine‘s should not be applauded. We had too many appeasers on climate during GW Bush administration.'”
