Robert Redford and Al Gore chastise Obama for not taking action on climate change
In an op-ed in USA Today, Redford wrote that recognizing the “need to combat climate change” wasn’t enough and called on the President to finally take action for the “sake of our children.” “Clearly, the president understands the climate issue,” Redford wrote. “But he owes more to future generations than his intellectual acknowledgement about the hardships they will face if nothing is done to address it.”
Gore: 'Obama does not yet have a team in the White House to help him implement solutions to the climate crisis,' Gore said. 'He hasn’t staffed up for it. He’s got one person who hasn’t been given that much authority.'
