New paper finds solar cycle affects climate of Northern Hemisphere — A forthcoming paper in Atmospheric Chemistry & Physics
Study 'finds that tiny 0.07% changes in solar activity over 11-year solar cycles have a 'robust' relationship to Northern Hemisphere atmospheric circulation and temperature changes in Europe exceeding 1C. The paper adds to many other peer-reviewed publications demonstrating that tiny changes in solar activity within and between solar cycles can have greatly amplified effects upon climate and temperature.
