Model Fail on Antarctic: ‘Climate models say Antarctic sea ice should currently be in prolonged and substantial decline’
Study in AMS' peer-reviewed Journal of Climate: 'The negative SIE (sea ice extent) trends in most of model runs over 1979 – 2005 are a continuation of an earlier decline, suggesting that the processes responsible for the observed increase over last 30 years are not being simulated correctly.'
Analysis: 'Climate models say Antarctic sea ice should be shrinking. Instead, Antarctic sea ice is growing and consistently setting new records.'
