- Study uses MRI brain scans to examine the ‘Neurobiology of Climate Change Denial’
"There were clear statistical variances that suggest a characteristic neuropathology. In the case of the deniers, counter to the normal pattern of activity, significantly activated regions included the left caudate, bilateral prefrontal cortex (PFC) and para-hippocampal gyri. Activations in the putamen and the globus pallidus were significant at p<0.005 (uncorrected), but no activation was found in the nucleus accumbens.”
"Subjects who had declared varying degrees of skepticism were confronted with images totemic of climate change evidence and were asked to offer their personal assessment whilst undergoing functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI).”
"Deniers were simply unreceptive to the evidence presented and, instead, were activating brain regions associated with memory recall in order to entrench their preconceived ideas."

Skeptic wins rare climate debate in New York City: It’s Official: Warmist Andrew Dessler lost to Physicist Steve Koonin – Audience voted Koonin the winner
"Koonin won, the swing was 25% in his favor."
Author Jerome Corsi, who attended the debate in person, observed: "Dr. Dessler persisted in requesting slides (identified by number, 'Can we see slide #27,' for instance. But when displayed on a big screen at the front of the auditorium, the slide, eventually found, contained print too small to be read. Perhaps that was to Dr. Dessler’s benefit. The inherently questionable arguments the requested slides were supposed to 'prove' truthfully made going to 'evidence' premature."

Despite reports of its demise, The Great Barrier Reef Is Doing Great – Sees ‘Record High Coral Cover’
Since 1986, the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS) surveys roughly 100 of the 3000 coral reefs of the Great Barrier Reef (GBR). Ridd used this data to construct the coral cover since 1986 (Figure 1) which shows that the GBR has record high coral cover.
