  • Move Over Greta: UN Makes 20-Year-Old Instagram Influencer Sophia Their Official Climate Advisor & Greta Replacement! How Dare They!

Sophia Kianni, the self-proclaimed “Gen Z Climate Activist” was a hit at COP27, the climate change conference where hundreds of important people fly their private jets to scold the rest of us about the environment. As she noted on Twitter, “You can be an advisor to the head of the United Nations and still wear a cute outfit!”

Climate Depot's Morano comment: "Wow. Greta who? After Greta declined to attend COP 27 and called the UN climate summit a "scam" full of "greenwashing" and "lying", the UN tossed her aside quicker than a private jet commute. The replacement Greta, known as Sophia, met with the UN Sec. Gen, conducted a meeting with Biden's climate envoy John Kerry and gave a keynote speech to the UN COP 27 in Egypt. How dare they!"

  • Why Elites Like Greta Thunberg Hate Capitalism – Despite fact that ‘free markets have lifted millions out of poverty, liberated women, & protected the environment’

Greta claims we must overthrow "the whole capitalist system," which she says is responsible for "imperialism, oppression, genocide... racist, oppressive extractionism." There is no “back to normal,” she said.

Michael Shellenberger: "Greta's claims are absurd. The "whole capitalist system" has, over the last 200 years, allowed for the average life expectancy of humans to rise from 30 to 70 years of age. The "whole capitalist system" produces larger food surpluses than any other system in human history. And the "whole capitalist system" has resulted in declining greenhouse gas emissions in developed nations over the last 50 years. ... But capitalism is plainly better than any other system of economic organization yet devised. High levels of inequality are the result of more rich people, not more poor people, who are much better off under capitalism than feudalism or communism. The business cycle of booms and busts provokes manias and depressions, but it is much more efficient, and less oppressive than governments deciding what should be produced, by whom, and at what price. ... Capitalism is far better for the natural environment than feudalism or communism. Under feudalism, subsistence farmers rely on wood and dung for cooking fuels and must farm large tracts of land to produce a small amount of food. The industrial revolution not only liberated most people from back-breaking farming but also reduced the amount of land required, thanks to fertilizer, irrigation, and tractors. ...

Left-wing parties, from communist to socialist to social democratic parties, used to be the parties of the working class. Now, across the Western world, they are the parties of educated elites."

  • Climate activists who poured soup on Van Gogh’s paintings believe ‘climate change will destroy human civilization unless emergency action is taken’

Dr. Roger Pielke Jr.: I encourage you to read the @JustStop_Oil manifesto. It's a sad statement of what we experts have done to young people. It is chock full of hyperbole from authoritative figures, references to work of the "planetary boundaries" folks & RCP8.5 studies.

    The below from their preamble:

  • We’re Saved – toddlers’ sue for better climate! 1st children’s ‘climate trial’ in US history is set: 16 youngsters suing Montana claiming fossil fuels contributed to ‘climate crisis’

The lawsuit against the state of Montana was filed by 16 children who ranged in ages of two to 18 when it was filed in March 2020

The youngsters argue that Montana's continuous use of fossil fuels has contributed to the climate crisis

The children are not looking for a lump sum of money, but, if the court rules in their favor, the group wants defendants to 'bring the state energy system into constitutional compliance,’ the March 2020 filing states.

The file includes stories about each plaintiff that describes how the climate crisis has impacted them personally

The youngest of the group, Nathaniel, was two at the time of the filing - he is now four years old. Nathaniel has respiratory issues that cause him frequent illnesses and the document claims the climate crisis is increasing the length and severity of Montana’s wildfire season which poses a threat on the young boy’s health.

The trial will take place on June 12, 2023 and conclude on June 23

  • Greta Thunberg replaced by a puppet – Literally a puppet called Little Amal
DAVID STROM: But now Thunberg is old news. She is essentially being replaced by a puppet that is going to heal the world. A puppet called Little Amal.

I hadn’t heard of Little Amal until I ran across this tweet, but when I looked into who/what Little Amal is, I burst out laughing. It is perfect. It perfectly captures the idiocy of modern culture.

Little Amal has traveled over 9,000km embodying the urgent message “Don’t forget about us”. From September 14 – October 2, Amal will travel to New York City in partnership with St. Ann’s Warehouse.

After arriving at JFK Airport, she will travel through all five boroughs, meeting artists, civic leaders, community groups, and young New Yorkers of all backgrounds.

  • Teen climate activist school skipper admits flying to Fiji after urging restrictions on airline travel: ‘We would have to apply to have, like, approved events to be able to fly for’ – Only ‘necessary travel’

“This year for our strike we’re focusing specifically on agriculture,” she said. “Two of our demands are our main focus: ban synthetic nitrogen fertilizers and halving the herd of cows in NZ … the government is just not doing enough.”

Cook spoke with du Plessis-Allan about the strike:

“So we would have to apply to have, like, approved events to be able to fly for,” du Plessis-Allan prompted.

“Well, that’s one thing that you could look at doing,” Cook replied.

“Am I allowed to go to Fiji? Is that necessary?” du Plessis-Allan asked.

“In the current climate crisis, I don’t think that that’s necessary travel,” Cook said, but du Plessis-Allan immediately pushed back.

“When was the last time you were on a plane?” she asked.

Cook paused briefly before answering, “Um … I’m not sure. A few months ago, to be honest.”

“Where’d you go?” du Plessis-Allan asked.

After another long pause, Cook answered: “Fiji.”

Kid's manipulated with bug-eating PSYOP: ”Chips are great aren’t they, and these chips are even better, because I think they are better for you, did you know that? Yeah, that way you know, mum and dad might let you have more chips. Good stuff” the interviewer said.

    ...

”Many children have the power of pester, so in some cases can be great agents of dietary change within the family” said Verity Jones from the University of the West of England in Bristol.

Marc Morano commented: "The Great Reset is happening here and now. This is not circa 1991, when we we were talking about a shadowy secretive vision of a New World Order. This is 2022 now and we are seeing a 'new normal' being imposed upon the world.

    1) Our current energy system is being intentionally collapsed ;

    2) Our transportation system is being intentionally collapsed; (and our freedom of movement is being stripped away)

    3) Our First Amendment free speech rights are being collapsed by government & corporate collusion;

    4) Our high-yield agricultural system is being intentionally collapsed to create man-made food shortages and chaos; and

    5) The ability to eat meat is being banned to compel us to eat 'lab-grown' fake meat and eat insects. Artificially caused food shortages will create demand for insect eating.  And our betters are using our children as hand-picked little ministers of propaganda to promote insect eating and 'pester' adults to comply with the agenda. • Climatologist Dr. Judith Curry: ‘The UN IPCC Reports have become ‘bumper sticker’ climate science’ – Report lobbies for ‘politically manufactured consensus’

Curry: " The IPCC Reports have become 'bumper sticker'  climate science – making a political statement while using the overall reputation of science to give authority to a politically manufactured consensus." ... "The IPCC has strayed far from its chartered role of assessing the scientific literature in support of policy making. The entire framing of the IPCC Reports is now around the mitigation of climate change through emissions reductions. Not only has the IPCC increasingly taken on a stance of explicit political advocacy, but it is misleading policy makers by its continued emphasis on extreme climate outcomes driven by the implausible extreme emissions scenarios." ...

"The most important finding of the past 5 years is that the extreme emissions scenarios RCP8.5 and SSP5-8.5, commonly referred to as 'business-as-usual' scenarios, are now widely recognized as implausible. These extreme scenarios have been dropped by UN Conference of the Parties to the UN Climate Agreement.  However, the new Synthesis Report continues to emphasize these extreme scenarios, while this important finding is buried in a footnote: “Very high emission scenarios have become less likely but cannot be ruled out.”

  • Great Water Reset: The UN & WEF are coming for your water now! ‘Sustainable development’ water dictates – Aim to ‘achieve internationally agreed water-related goals’

Cheryl K. Chumley: The United Nations plans to protect water that’s used for bathing; water that’s used for developments; water that’s home to sea life; water that’s used for transportation. So the up-and-coming controls would likely focus on residential limits to water usage, and costly increases to access that water; on bans on agricultural usage, and costly increases on farmers; on strict controls on the types and numbers of ships that can sail the seas and rivers and channels, and costly increases for this form of transportation. ... as with carbon offsets, the U.N. water czars will demand trades of activities to offset the supposed pollution of the waterways.

So much for jet skiing. So much for fishing on the weekends with the family. It’ll be too expensive — and regulated.

“Natural resources crises, including for water and food, come within the top 10 biggest risks facing humanity in the coming decade,” the World Economic Forum wrote. ... “[A]s global warming continues to take effect, ordinary weather is becoming a thing of the past, exacerbating our water crisis,” the World Economic Forum wrote.

  • Lawyers Seek To Add Stock Of Lawyer Jokes By Demanding Oil Companies Be Prosecuted For Homicide

So if using oil is murder—and it has to be murder and not manslaughter, for our authors know of what they do—then lawyer Donald Braman and “public citizen” David Arkush are murderers. Perhaps they’ll turn themselves in? If it isn’t ink, it’s the gas they put in their cars, or the fuel in the planes in which they fly, or in heating or cooling their home, or running the electricity to pay for their Netflix accounts, or in manufacturing the clothes they wear, or in the plastic which surrounds them in their own homes, or in growing the food they eat. There is no way these sad individuals can remove the charge of hypocrisy, or escape the logic of their own argument. ...

If this “lethal harm”, caused by use of oil, is indeed “unparalleled in human history”, then our authors, who knowingly participate in this lethal harm, damn themselves. None of this can, or must, be taken seriously. The charge is absurd. It is asinine. It can only be the result of, as I said, lowly greed, or worse, profound stupidity and irresponsibility.
