Partial Transcript:
Piscopo: Marc Morano is the man, former senior staff member of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, publisher of ClimateDepot.com, and author of a book that is so amazingly relevant, called The Great Reset. Marc, welcome back to the show. How you doing, my brother?
Morano: Hey, I’m doing great, Joe. I’m getting ready to come to your town. I’m coming to New York the third week of September; I’ll be there for Climate Week.
And are you ready for this? I am a featured speaker at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City for Climate Week at a sustainable Green New Deal event. We were able to look; we somehow signed me up, and they allowed it. And now I was taken off one website as a speaker, but someone else claims that they’re going to allow free speech and allow me to present. I think someone messed up, but I’m heading to NYC.
I’m going to be in the land of Stalin and Mao praisers. I might wear a Che Rivera T-shirt, or I’m thinking of a custom shirt that says “Socialism Works: It just hasn’t been done correctly.” So I can fit in better.
…
This is New York City climate week. And this brings out everyone from Al Gore, used to bring out Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos for this event. But they’re now seemingly walking away from the climate movement. Bezos isn’t funding his billion-dollar climate fund. Gates has stopped funding climate. Zuckerberg stopped funding it. So the event will have the activists. You may have the AOCs; you’ll have all the youth climate activists who are doing the lawsuits there. And it’s going to be the true hardcore believers.
So I might need you there with a posse, or something for security; we’ll see how it’s going to go.
Piscopo: Absolutely good one. You know what I know? A guy I know a guy will take care of it. Hey, you know, so what’s the do you end declaring? Earth has exceeded the safe temperature threshold from the 2015 Paris Climate Accord. What is that all about Marc Morano?
Morano: All right, it’s really simple. In 2015, and I mean, it was huge. I was at the UN Paris signing at the, you know, when they agreed to that treaty. In fact, we had world leaders said it was a major leap for Mankind.
History will remember the state, the UN Secretary-General, said. Al Gore, when he talked about the UN Paris Agreement, said, ” Years from now, our grandchildren will reflect on our history’s moral courage.
President Obama called it a turning point for the world. John Kerry said it was a tremendous victory for all citizens.
Guess what 2026 wants: we have lovely parting gifts. You get Rice-a-Roni; the San Francisco treat is all you leave with.
The UN, which had claimed that their Paris accord had saved humanity, is now forced to admit that it failed, which is good news. Don’t be upset. Yes, we’re facing climate catastrophe, but the good news is the UN admits that they suck at trying to control the Earth’s temperature and that they lied about history being made 11 years ago.
Piscopo: And what happened that I that really annoying young lady Greta Berg, something was Greta Thornburg, was it was it?
Morano: Greta Thunberg moved on, and now she’s- by the way- she vowed never to fly again. She became a Hamas-related Israel protester. She went to Israel and came back on an airplane, so she actually violated her own pledge never to fly again. Now it wasn’t a voluntary flight, but she violated her pledge to never fly again regardless. But she literally has almost completely moved on now from climate. She did appear about a month ago at some rally in some country in Europe, which was the first time in years that she had even shown any interest in climate.
…
AI Data Centers:
Morano: Data centers have several good things, and they have some very big areas of concern, but the big thing is they killed the climate hoax. As I previously mentioned, you know, all the billionaires, because they want to make money on data centers- the big tech billionaires, Zuckerberg and Bezos and Gates have moved on, and so they’re all pro data; they’re all pro nuclear. They’re all pro natural gas. They’re building their own energy plants.
And that’s the good news, and I think we’re absolutely crushing it. We are like, I think, 10 times or 9 times more data centers and capacity than the nearest country that’s how good we’re doing, however, we’re running and there is Chinese funding, there’s Russian funding and they’re, of course, exaggerating any protest.
However, there is that not in my backyard ” opposition to data centers. And that is huge, because data centers, I think, have one thing, and I think Donald Trump can address this, they are ugly. There are no windows on these Soviet-era-looking buildings. These are big cement buildings. I think back to my days, going to Atlantic City in the 80s, 80s, 90s, you see the Taj Mahal; it was that- what do they call that stucco- they put it on the facade, like in Disney World, that false front of the building to make it look like a period-piece building or whatever magical kingdom, whatever they wanted it to look like.
I think we need to do that with data centers, because I think one of the objections, even one of the objections in the not in my backyard, is these are big, ugly buildings, and then of course, there is an undertow of big tech surveillance. People don’t trust big tech; that’s another issue that people have to deal with.
…
Morano:
I gotta tell Joe, the midterm elections have me worried, because the Green New Deal 2.0, if they get an injection by the midterms, the Democrats, we are looking at something that doesn’t even look like the old Green New Deal. This is not your father’s Green New Deal of the AOC era. This is much more radical. They didn’t even allow communists in the DSA, the Democratic Socialists, in 2019, when they originally proposed the Green New Deal. Now they welcome them with open arms; you have Stalin and Mao defenders.
Piscopo: Yeah, you’re absolutely right. Marc. Keep to fight and and come back when you can and have a great Labor Day, you deserve it, Marc Morano. We thank you, brother, Marc Morano, former senior staff member of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. He knows what he’s talking about. Publisher of — you gotta check it out, please, and go to ClimateDepot.com. Hey, Steve Guttenberg’s going to join us. He’s got a new film coming out; he’s going to jump on the air with us.
