Well, something metamorphosed in the past 5 years or so since this all came out, back when AOC was elected. They’ve gone full-blown Marxist; they have embraced communism. These leaders now embrace Mao; they embrace Stalin; they praise China for their one-party rule. They have gone so far that you wouldn’t even recognize their vision of the Green New Deal in 2026 from what it was in 2019.
The Green New Deal was more the butt of a joke in 2019. In 2026, it’s like, are you effing serious? This is where they are now. It’s just a complete cycle transformation, the warmth of collectivism, to use the words of Mayor Mamdani in New York City.”
