President Donald Trump has mercifully cancelled Joe Biden’s monumentally wasteful spending on his dreamy dream of a national EV charger network.
The Trump administration’s General Services Administration is now finally pulling the plug on Biden’s absurd fantasy.
The GSA has now determined that turning the entire fleet of federal automobiles electric is no longer “mission critical.” The same is being said, now, of Biden’s charging station network that he threw billions of wasted tax dollars at, as well.
Biden put a cool $7.5 billion into this fantasy EV charger project. And after four years, we got a whole dozen stations on line. You read that right. 12 stations for $7.5 billion of our tax dollars.

The GSA had initially begun electrifying its fleet to comply with the Biden administration’s Federal Sustainability Plan, which mandates that all new federal fleet acquisitions be zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) by 2035. This plan was part of a broader effort to reduce the government’s carbon footprint and transition toward more sustainable transportation solutions.
This announcement follows President Donald Trump revoking Biden’s EV mandate and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), which suspended all new EV charging deployment plans and froze funding for the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program.
