Climate Depot Executive Director Marc Morano believes net zero has “nothing to do” with climate change and is about bureaucrats wanting to control “every aspect” of your life. “It’s a question of how long your voters and Australians are going to put up with this nonsensical virtue signalling,”
Mr Morano told Sky News Australia. “The bottom line is this – climate goals, net zero, have nothing to do with climate change; it’s all about bureaucratic bean counters wanting to control every aspect of your life. “If you actually believed there was a climate crisis, whether you’re in Australia or the US, the last thing you’d want to do is ‘let’s go with a central-planned net zero policy and a Green New Deal where we ban appliances and start regulating the kind of cars you can drive and the meat you can eat’.
“It would be the opposite – you would want to unleash technology, innovation, wealth, prosperity, and you would want to continue riding that 99 per cent drop in climate-related deaths in the last 100 years.”
