President Trump mocked the existence of “global waming” on Monday as brutally cold temperatures were expected to pummel the Midwest.

Trump — who has called climate change a hoax invented by the Chinese — took issue with the scientific consensus of global warming by pointing out that it will be severely cold in some parts of the country this week.

“What the hell is going on with Global Waming? Please come back fast, we need you!” Trump tweeted on Monday night.

The temperature in Chicago was expected to reach 20 below zero by Thursday and the Minneapolis/St. Paul area could see minus 30 degrees. The wind chill could be unbearable as a brutal jet stream moves through the area.

“In the beautiful Midwest, windchill temperatures are reaching minus 60 degrees, the coldest ever recorded. In coming days, expected to get even colder,” Trump wrote. “People can’t last outside even for minutes.”

However, the extremely cold weather was expected to last a few days.
