“Science” isn’t the strength of President Donald Trump and “the bums he surrounds himself with,” entertainer Bette Midler opined on Tuesday.
In a tweet apparently comparing Pres. Trump to infamous former president of the Philippines Ferdinand Marcos, Midler attacked Trump for not taking heed of the United Nations’ apocalyptic climate predictions:
“Morning TV dedicates time to the new UN ClimateChangeReport, and it’s dire, dire dire. But President Marcos, I mean Trump, doesn’t give a sh*t. I guess science was not his strong suit, nor is it the strength of the bums he surrounds himself with. You’ll burn, drown or starve.”
