Antarctic sea ice has set another record, with extent for July at the highest on record.
Eight of the last twelve months have all set new records, the exceptions being December, January, February and March, which ranked 2nd, 2nd, 4th and 3rd respectively.
Sea ice concentration is also well above average around most of the continent, with the main exception of the Peninsula.

Meanwhile, global sea ice area remains above normal, as it has been for most of the year.
