President Obama showed the governors pictures of the snow pack in California from after the year we had the blizzards in 2010. and he is showing year to year variability as proof of climate. They're now using heatwaves, they are using a record rainfall in one city in Florida as proof of man-made climate change. But on on the longer time scales, 50 to 100 year time scales, the peer-reviewed literature shows no trends in hurricanes, droughts, floods, big tornadoes or even declining trends.'
