It is a violation of U.S. government policy to rely on the altered "scientific" reports of the UN IPCC. 

Greenpeace Co-Founder turned climate skeptic Dr. Patrick Moore commented on the below report: This is the "perfect reason for the US to abandon the UN Paris  climate 'agreement'".

Climate policy expert Donna Laframboise: U.S. government rules "in no uncertain terms, repudiate the process by which UN climate reports are produced. The US government says political tampering with scientific findings is a violation of scientific integrity.

1. IPCC reports are extensively tampered with by political officials.
2. IPCC reports therefore lack scientific integrity.
3. People who rely on IPCC reports are basing their decisions on documents that have no scientific integrity.

The 2017 DOE policy says:

Under no circumstance may anyone, including a public affairs officer, ask or direct any researcher to alter the record of scientific findings or conclusions. 

…personnel will not suppress or alter scientific or technological findings, or intimidate or coerce…others to alter or censor scientific or technological findings or conclusions.

There’s nothing equivocal about these statements...I am therefore happy to report that this same government has, in no uncertain terms, repudiated the process by which UN climate reports are produced.

Trump signed open letter in New York Times declaring: “If we fail to act now, it is scientifically irrefutable that there will be catastrophic and irreversible consequences for humanity and our planet.”

But this counters the above:

If, on a global scale, we increase the soil carbon content of the soil by .04 percent each year for the next 25 years, we can draw down a critical mass of excess carbon from the atmosphere and begin to reverse global warming.”

Don’t (our fellow climate activists) realize that every new hybrid or 100 percent electric car in its making will contribute as much greenhouse gas emissions as would driving a five-year-old Toyota?

COP21’s plan will lead to 90 percent of the world’s species disappearing by 2060 unless we sequester soil carbon and stop the ocean acidification (caused by excess carbon falling into the seas). As plankton die every year, the planet faces a looming oxygen shortage.

The Pope declared it would by “‘sad, and I dare say even catastrophic,’ were particular interests to prevail over the common good at the upcoming climate conference in Paris.” It would be sadder if we signed over to politicians even more control than they already have to solve a problem that doesn’t exist. That would really hurt The Poor™. So why does the Pope believe all these demonstrably false things? Bad advice, in part.
