Week One Round-up – Reporting from Belém, Brazil, for the UN climate summit. I have attended in-person 21 out of the past 23 international UN climate/environmental summits. (Attending 19 UN COPs since 2004 — having only missed 2 COPs in 21. years). I also attended two UN Earth Summits – one in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 2002 & the other in Rio, Brazil in 2012.

Note: COP30 is serving up chicken and Bob’s Burgers & Shakes to UN delegates. No sign of bugs available to eat. Politico reported that Bob’s sold out of hamburgers on Day 2 of the climate summit.
