Had this been a Democratic president when this happened, I think we would have had a lot more skepticism because people, Republicans, conservatives, libertarians, people on the right would have stood up to a [Democrat] president who was essentially allowing the shutdown of the entire country. I think because it was Trump. I don't think people questioned it as much. They thought 'Well if even Trump is convinced this must be bad,' so in a way, having Trump president may have worked against us here (in fighting lockdowns)..."
