CNN publishes warmist Jeffrey Sachs: Trump & GOP ‘have blood on their hands’ – ‘Trump’s failure to fight climate change is a crime against humanity’

CNN has officially descended into the depths of comical climate change claims with the October 18th publication of UN and Pope Francis advisor Jeffrey Sachs’ absurd claims about President Donald Trump and other GOP officials having “blood on their hands” for failing to believe in the UN’s climate claims.

Sachs,  a professor and director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University, wrote on that President Trump, Florida Senator Marco Rubio and Florida Gov. Rick Scott were “should be held accountable for climate crimes against humanity” for their “willful” climate “denial.”

“President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Rick Scott, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, and others who oppose action to address human-induced climate change should be held accountable for climate crimes against humanity,” Sachs wrote at CNN.

“They are the authors and agents of systematic policies that deny basic human rights to their own citizens and people around the world, including the rights to life, health, and property. These politicians have blood on their hands, and the death toll continues to rise,” Sachs added.

“It is time to hold these reckless politicians to account,” Sachs demanded in his CNN commentary.

Sachs wrote at CNN that President Trump and other officials who promote climate “denial” have “blood on their hands.

Sachs has promoted climate “tipping points” in the past. In 2015, Sachs warned that humans only had six months to save the world or we would all be doomed.

In his CNN commentary, Sachs touted the UN’s climate panel as being reputable. “The Nobel-prize winning Inter-Governmental Panel on Climate Change has also just released a harrowing report showing that the world has just a few years left to move decisively towards renewable energy if it hopes to achieve the globally agreed target to limit warming below 1.5 degrees Celsius above the pre-industrial average temperature of the planet.”

This is certainly our generation’s best chance to get on track. Such diplomatic opportunities only come around every decade or so, and here they are all aligned in six months. We need to be successful.’ Professor Sachs is an adviser to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
