- Al Gore’s ‘Reality Drop’ is a bomb: ‘WUWT readers make up the majority of visitors to this farce video. Mostly curiosity I suppose. Watch the video, then see the numbers below’
- Sen Boxer (D-Calif) ‘Hurricane Sandy has shown us all what the scientists sitting right in this room said the day I got the gavel, & they told us exactly what would happen and it’s all happening’
Boxer: 'And you can close your eyes and cover your ears and put a pillow over your head. But anyone with a heartbeat and a pulse can tell things are changing. And you are right and we're going to do whatever we can'
- Senate panel Democrats bash climate change deniers: Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.: ‘And we’ve tolerated the deniers for far too long in this body’
Sen. Whitehouse: 'We have this new normal of new extremes is because global climate change is happening and is real...We have to face the fact that the deniers are wrong. They are just plain dead wrong...I think some of the courtesies that we have given to one another collegially really have to yield to the fact that some of the things that are being said in the Senate, and occasionally regrettably in this committee chamber, are just plain wrong.'
- The Economist on UN summit in Qatar: ‘Climate change: Theatre of the absurd’: ‘Thousands of politicians, tree-huggers and journalists descended on Doha this week’
'...adding their mite of hot air to the country that already has the world's highest level of carbon emissions per head. The feeling of unreality is apt. The meeting comes amid gathering gloom about both the speed of climate change and the chances of implementing policies to keep the rise in global temperatures below 2°C'
- EPA Say Heatwaves Much Worse in 1930’s: ‘Heat waves occurred with high frequency in the 1930s, and these remain the most severe heat waves in the U.S. historical record’
'What is surprising is that the EPA acknowledged that the 1930's saw much more severe heat waves and that there is no trend to heat waves becoming worse'
- Sen. Vitter: Carbon Tax Discussions Should Be Done Openly
- Gore effect timed to UN climate summit in Qatar: Globe Seized By Bitter Cold – Arctic Sees Record Refreeze – UK Faces 100-Year Winter – Snow In New Zealand!
- Warmists Tout ‘Ice loss in Greenland since 1960’ Rebuttal: ‘Ignore critical information from prior to your start date’
Flashback: May 6, 1940: 'By far the largest number of local glaciers in northeast Greenland had receded very greatly during recent decades, and it would not be exaggerating to say that these glaciers were nearing a catastrophe'
- BBC Confirms That Polar Melt Has Almost No Effect On Sea Level
'Melting of polar ice sheets has added 11mm to global sea levels over the past two decades, according to the most definitive assessment so far'
Real Science analysis: 'Two inches of sea level rise over the next 100 years'
- Global warming still stalled since 1998, WMO Doha figures show: ‘There is now some admission even from the hardest climate hardliners that something may be going on which is not understood’
'Figures released by the UN's World Meteorological Organisation indicate that 2012 is set to be perhaps the ninth hottest globally since records began - but that planetary warming, which effectively stalled around 1998, has yet to resume at the levels seen in the 1980s and early 1990s'

The Media Is Lying About Greenland and Climate Change – It has in fact rained on Greenland before
Last week, media outlets across the globe claimed that there has been rain for the first time at the Greenland summit. “Rain fell at the normally snowy summit of Greenland for the first time on record,” read CNN’s headlines. Others went a step further and declared it a sign of climate doomsday. “Rain On Greenland Ice Sheet, Possibly A First, Signals Climate Change Risk,” read another headline. Unfortunately, for the mainstream media, climate history nearly always comes back to haunt their claims of unprecedented events. Records reveal that this is not the first rainfall in Greenland, and certainly not the first on the Greenland summit peak, which stands at around 10,000 feet.

Say what? Failing to act on climate change could ‘finally expose China as a global outlaw’!? — Not concentration camps, ethnic cleansing, slave labor, collectivism & authoritarian control?!
NY Post: Ponder this rhetorical question, posed by a columnist at The Hill: “Could climate change finally expose China as a global outlaw?” So it wasn’t the concentration camps that did it. Or the ethnic cleansing. Or the slave labor. Or the decades of collectivist-induced economic misery and authoritarian control. Or the state censorship. It was Beijing’s violations of the Paris Accord.
Indeed, certain pundits have been openly envious of the ability of Chinese Communists to compel their citizens to adopt carbon-mitigation policies. The commissars must be such a disappointment to them.

Arctic September Minimum Sea Ice Extent Trend RISING Over Past 10 Years – Norwegian Data

OSI Arctic sea ice minimum since 2012 ftp://osisaf.met.no/prod_test/ice/index/v2p1/nh/osisaf_nh_sie_daily.txt
September minimum trend has contradicted Al Gore’s predictions of an ice free Arctic. Whether sea ice has turned the corner and will start a recovery still remains to be seen. One thing is certain: The predictions of an ice-free Arctic soon made a decade ago were flat out wrong.

New York Times urges a stop to a changing climate! Claims ‘it is impossible to guarantee safety of people so long as the climate continues to change’
