Watch: Morano on Fox on universities promoting eco-terrorism: This is nothing short of ‘eco-porn’ in the form of ‘hardcore terrorism’

Morano explain on Fox that government officials are lining up in favor of eco-terror, which has even entered the curriculum at universities.

“This is coming not from just some lone nut like the author of the book “How to Blow Up a Pipeline”; this is coming from NPR, Bloomberg, and the New York Times.  It’s coming from NASA. In 2010, NASA’s lead global warming scientist endorsed a different book that called for ridding the world of industrial civilization.  He literally said they should essentially be blowing up dams.  James Hansen, the former NASA scientist in endorsing this book said the author has it right, the system is the problem… This is nothing short of eco-porn in the form of hard core terrorism.”

Watch: Morano on Rebel News talking Davos: The ‘elites’ know corporate media is on their side – ‘They don’t think the government would lie about COVID, or terrorism or climate?!’

Video here as well. The Ezra Levant Show – Rebel News TV – Broadcast January 23, 2023 Climate Depot’s Marc Morano joins The Ezra Levant Show, where he told @EzraLevant that the so-called elites know the corporate media is on their side, and that’s why they run from independent journalists. Visit Rebel News for more on this story ➔ https://rebelne.ws/3WzX5yg Morano: “The world’s most powerful ruling classes have now conditioned themselves to know that corporate media and established media are all friendly –  it’s fine. They fear the small independent unaffiliated, grassroots journalism, that tells us everything you need to know about what’s wrong with the mainstream media of the world today globally.  They’re there to protect the powerful, not hold them to account. What a flip from the 1960s and 70s when you had people like Jane Fonda and the media heralding the Pentagon papers showing that the U.S government lied about the Vietnam War. So they don’t think the government would lie about COVID, or terrorism or climate?! What happened to these great progressives? The merger of big media and big government is shocking.”

Bloomberg Green Gives Voice to Climate Terrorist Andreas Malm

https://www.masterresource.org/climate-extremism/bloomberg-climate-terrorism/ By Robert Bradley Jr. The climate alarmists are in a trap of their own making. Their cut-and-dried apocalyptic predictions have not come true–and the public is rightly skeptical. But instead of checking their premises, the eco-nuts are inconveniencing and offending the public, damaging private property, and ending up in jail. And they are damaging their own cause by … being crazy. To Bloomberg Green, it is business as usual to give voice to eco-terrorist Andreas Malm. Here is what Akshat Rathi and Oscar Boyd wrote on December 14th: The past few months have seen a flurry of climate protests. In Marseilles, a cement factory was sabotaged by activists for its high emissions. In London, tomato soup was thrown at Van Gogh’s Sunflowers by members of the group Just Stop Oil. Other activists have taken to deflating SUV tires in cities across Europe and the US to discourage use of the gas-guzzling vehicles. This is only the beginning of what climate activists need to do in order to be effective, says Andreas Malm, associate professor of human ecology at Lund University and author of How to Blow Up a Pipeline. “The task for the climate movement is to make clear for people that building new pipelines, new gas terminals, opening new oil fields are acts of violence that need to be stopped — they kill people,” Malm says on Bloomberg Green’s Zero podcast. Violence? Maybe 49 percent of the time. Rathi and Boyd continue: Malm argues that while the majority of climate action should remain non-violent, no social sea change — from the suffragettes to the Civil Rights Movement — has succeeded through completely peaceful activism. “We shouldn’t engage in assassinations or terrorism, or use arms and things like that,” he says. “But until that line or boundary, we need virtually everything … all the way up to sabotage and property destruction.” Purposeful, premeditated destruction of legal property is “terrorism.” And is the next step using arms and carrying out “assassinations”? This is quite a slippery slope. Rathi and Boyd end: The stakes are high for protesters engaged in disruptive tactics, as governments around the world target them with increasingly punitive legislation…. Malm says this response is to be expected. “That’s what always happens when you escalate. As soon as you pose a danger to the system, this is what you’ll get in return,” he says. “And that’s a sign that you’re doing something good, that you are actually challenging some interests.” You can listen to the full conversation with Malm below, and read a full transcript here. Check out more episodes of Zero, and subscribe on Apple, Spotify and Google to get new episodes each week. Three days later, Green Bloomberg’s Olivia Rudgard gives another shout-out to the eco-terrorist’s radio interview: Sabotaging a cement plant. Throwing soup at art. Deflating SUV tires. This type of property destruction is exactly what activists need to do more of to be effective, says academic and How to Blow Up a Pipeline author Andreas Malm on this week’s Zero. “The task for the climate movement is to make clear for people that building new pipelines, new gas terminals, opening new oil fields are acts of violence that need to be stopped,” Malm says. “They kill people.” Listen to the episode — and subscribe on Apple, Spotify and Google for new episodes each week.   Who is Andreas Malm? Andreas Malm, eco-terrorist propagator, is in the eco-nut class with David Suzuki (“There are going to be pipelines blowing up“) and Les Knight (“I campaign for the extinction of the human race“). Here are some quotations from the blow-up-the-pipeline threat. Consider these quotations from Andreas Malm’s How to Blow Up a Pipeline: Learning to Fight in a World on Fire (2021): Damage and destroy new CO2 emitting devices. Put them out of commission, pick them apart, demolish them, burn them, blow them up…. Sabotage, after all, is not incompatible with social distancing. And a quotation from How to Blow Up a Pipeline: Do we conclude that the only thing left is learning to die – a position already propounded by some – and slide down the side of the crater into three, four, eight degrees of warming? Or is there another phase, beyond peaceful protest? A book summary states: The science on climate change has been clear for a very long time now. Yet despite decades of appeals, mass street protests, petition campaigns, and peaceful demonstrations, we are still facing a booming fossil fuel industry… In this lyrical manifesto, noted climate scholar (and saboteur of SUV tires and coal mines) Andreas Malm makes an impassioned call for the climate movement to escalate its tactics in the face of ecological collapse. We need, he argues, to force fossil fuel extraction to stop–with our actions, with our bodies, and by defusing and destroying its tools. We need, in short, to start blowing up some oil pipelines. Final Comment The climate alarmists are at war with the world–the peaceful, let-me-improve-my-life world of normal people. They have picked a losing cause and cannot even consider a mid-course correction. The jails may fill up with eco-nuts, but there needs to be fines to individuals and organizations (Just Stop Oil–see tomorrow’s post) to cover the costs of incarceration. And perhaps the legal system can encourage rehabilitation when the guilty are invited to read Steven Koonin’s Unsettled or Alex Epstein’s Fossil Future to awaken their minds to the ideal and joy of living in an improving world where politics is minimized and human freedom maximized.

Morano puts eco-terrorists suspected of vandalizing power stations into perspective: ‘The real terrorism to the grid is the Green New Deal proposals & the Inflation Reduction Act’

https://omny.fm/shows/the-joe-piscopo-show/8-am-hour-the-joe-piscopo-show-12-27-22 Marc Morano, Former Senior Staff Member of the Senate Environment & Public Works Committee, publisher of ClimateDepot.com, and the author of “Green Fraud”Topic: New York City and NYS Energy Following Storm and Cold Weather The Joe Piscopo Show Broadcast December 27, 2022 Morano: These grids are being attacked, the same way that the SUVs have been regularly torched in many places by these environmental activists who don’t want to see SUVs on the road. They’re going after the grid because they want to create chaos. Vladimir Lenin, during the Russian Revolution in Czarist Russia would say ‘The worse, the better.’ So the idea is, the more chaos they can create, the more likely you’re going to have their government-favored nationalization and takeover of industries. But here’s the here’s the big — the bigger picture. Yeah, this is kind of like the guy holding up at gunpoint and taking your wallet on the street. But the real terrorism to the grid isn’t coming from the people attacking this grid. It’s coming from people like [former California Governor] Arnold Schwarzenegger, who 15 years ago signed the ‘historic’ California climate legislation, which led to California facing blackouts and the highest electricity prices in the country. The real terrorists to our grid are the Green New Deal proposals and the Inflation Reduction Act, and solar and wind mandates. There is no reason why any modern grid should have energy shortages. The only reason they have shortages is because of the green agenda that’s infiltrated itself into our energy policy due to due to politics based on wacky ideological science. So we can be mad at these activists for actually torching and destroying the grid or going after SUVs. But the real culprit is green energy policies.  Joe Piscopo: Marc Morano, you’re the man. Keep the fight. We love having you on the show more. Thank you so much for taking the time. Happy New Year, and let’s keep up the fight. ‘Sabotage Is Most Effective’: Eco-Terrorism Advocate Given Platform By The New York Times – Has advocated for ‘Ecological Leninism’

https://dailycaller.com/2022/10/21/eco-terrorist-advocate-new-york-times-opinion-column/ By JACK MCEVOY Swedish eco-terrorism advocate Andreas Malm was featured in a New York Times guest opinion piece on Thursday where he advocated for climate activists to engage in “sabotage” to prevent the “breakdown” of the environment. Throughout his NYT essay, Malm, who is also an associate professor of human ecology at Sweden’s Lund University, criticized the climate activists who threw soup on a famous Van Gogh painting in London to protest fossil fuel production as their actions were not “gritty” enough. Malm argues that engaging in eco-terrorism is the most productive and logical form of climate activism and is also the author of the nonfiction book, How to Blow Up a Pipeline: Learning to Fight in a World on Fire. (RELATED: Putin Tops Media ‘Green’ List For Shutting Off Europe’s Gas) “As a rule, I tend to think sabotage is most effective when it is precise and gritty,” Malm wrote. Malm praised the British environmentalists who destroyed gas station pumps in the United Kingdom, stating that they “hit the nail on the head” because it directly targeted a source of climate change. Malm claimed that climate movements in the West are now using sabotage to push their agendas, referencing the activist groups that have attacked pipeline facilities and disabled SUVs. “When governments refuse to undertake this work, it is up to the rest of us to initiate it,” Malm wrote in his NYT piece. “That is the rationale for sabotage: to aim straight for the bags of coal.” In his book, Malm disparages climate protestors who do not engage in sabotage as it will compel businesses and governments to divest from fossil fuels. He also claims that natural gas and oil pipelines are very easy to disable, citing historical examples. Malm and the NYT did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment. # Great Reset By Marc Morano – Chapter 12 Excerpt: ‘COVID Lockdowns Morph to Climate Lockdowns’ The following is an excerpt from Chapter 12 of The Great Reset: Global Elites and the Permanent Lockdown – By Marc Morano CHAPTER 12 – COVID Lockdowns Morph to Climate Lockdowns “We Must Embrace . . . Ecological Leninism” In 2020 Lund University professor Andreas Malm urged, “We must find a way of turning the environmental crisis into a crisis for fossil capital itself.” Malm pointed to Lenin as the model. “The whole strategic direction of Lenin after 1914 was to turn World War I into a fatal blow against capitalism. This is precisely the same strategic orientation we must embrace today—and this is what I mean by ecological Leninism.” “State power should definitely be used to prevent luxury emissions perpetrated by the rich—private jets should be banned outright, as should SUVs and other vehicles that consume completely indefensible amounts of fuel. This is low-hanging fruit for the climate justice movement, as these sources of emissions are among the least socially necessary,” Malm continued. “Some forms of consumption will indeed have to be limited or abolished outright—this cannot be done through markets or appeals to ethical consumption, but only through state regulation,” Malm added. # NPR / New Yorker feature Eco-terrorist threats to UN climate summit (COP26) – New Yorker asks: ‘Should The Climate Movement Embrace Sabotage?’ .   New York Times touts book titled: ‘How to Blow Up A Pipeline’ as a ‘new way to think’ – Book argues that ‘strategic acceptance of property destruction & violence has been the only route for revolutionary change’ NYT’s Tatiana Schlossberg (the daughter of Caroline Kennedy): How to Blow Up a Pipeline author Andreas Malm “argues that there should be room for tactics other than strict nonviolence and peaceful demonstrations — indeed, he is a bit contemptuous of those who offer strategic pacifism as a solution — and notes that fetishizing nonviolence in past protest movements sanitizes history, removing agency from the people who fought, sometimes violently, for justice, freedom and equality. Sure. But the problem with violence, even if it’s meant only to destroy “fossil capital,” is that ultimately it’s impossible to control.” # Climate Depot note: The website of the publisher of the book, Verso books, asks, “why haven’t we moved beyond peaceful protest?” The publisher website explains: “[How to Blow Up a Pipeline author Andreas] Malm argues that the strategic acceptance of property destruction and violence has been the only route for revolutionary change.” “Andreas Malm makes an impassioned call for the climate movement to escalate its tactics in the face of ecological collapse. We need, he argues, to force fossil fuel extraction to stop—with our actions, with our bodies, and by defusing and destroying its tools. We need, in short, to start blowing up some oil pipelines.” New York Magazine climate reporter David Wallace-Wells, also provided a featured review of Malm’s book: “If a livable world requires an all-over transformation, where and when and how do we start? Perhaps with this book, a provocative manifesto from the pioneering theorist of the climate age.” – David Wallace-Wells, author of The Uninhabitable Earth In 2010, NASA’s former lead climate scientist also endorsed a similar sounding book. See: James Hansen declared author ‘has it right…the system is the problem’ — Book proposes ‘razing cities to the ground, blowing up dams and switching off the greenhouse gas emissions machine’ 2013: Video: Eco-Terror Threats Issued at Rally: Climate Depot attended: ‘We will dismantle the Pipeline’ sign prominently displayed at rally — ‘By any means necessary’ Watch: Morano on RT: Green radicals are ready to kill for their cause The Socialists’ Plan for ‘Ecological Leninism’ The world is heating up and we face a global pandemic. Neither of these assertions is to be questioned, says Malm. “Science” tells us that they are true, and that is that. What causes these problems? The answer, you will not be surprised to learn, is capitalism. Marx long ago predicted that capitalism would collapse because capitalists, greedy for profit, would expand production to a greater extent than the market could absorb. The revisionist Marxist Eduard Bernstein objected that capitalism had so far surmounted its crises and hadn’t collapsed, but Rosa Luxemburg, another heroic figure for Malm, had high hopes for future disaster.

This potentially creates a window of time during which the SUV owner might not notice their vehicle has been sabotaged, which could in turn lead to a serious or fatal road accident, if the tire deflates suddenly while travelling on a motorway or busy road. They say they always leave a note – but who reads all the junk fliers which get stuck to wind shields in a big city? In my opinion these people are terrorists, and deserve to be treated as such. Professor in The Hill: ‘Get ready to see more climate terrorism’ – ‘The increasing infuriation of climate activists is warranted’

https://thehill.com/opinion/energy-environment/3460232-get-ready-to-see-more-climate-terrorism/ BY ELIZABETH CHALECKI – A professor at the University of Nebraska Omaha, a former research fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and a research chair with Fulbright Canada. In early November, two eco-activists were arrested in Newcastle, Australia, for blocking the Port of Newcastle’s outgoing coal-loading operations. The two women abseiled from coal-loading equipment to make a protest statement about their government’s lack of action on climate change. Their frustration was evident: We are trying to survive, they explained, and the government is doing nothing. The increasing infuriation of climate activists is warranted, in Australia and around the world. The UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) produces ever more dire warnings of the effect of a warming climate, but nations have consistently failed to reduce or control greenhouse gas emissions, even as a 2021 Pew poll found that nearly three-quarters of respondents thought climate change would harm them personally. In the United States, two-thirds of Americans say the government should do more to fight climate change, but the government has whipsawed between leaving the Paris Agreement and rejoining. If a Republican is elected in 2024, we could leave again. Meanwhile, atmospheric CO2 has steadily climbed to 419 ppm, the highest concentration ever recorded. What drives environmental activists to blockade railroads? Recent political science research has indicated that there is little correlation between the preferences of the majority in supposedly democratic societies and actual political outcomes, and that economic and business elites have far more influence than ordinary citizens over government policy. Repeated citizen demands for climate legislation, divestment plans for universities, the fossil fuel nonproliferation treaty, even the IPCC’s own findings — all founder against the bulwark of entrenched economic interests. “Kayaktivism” and other more benign forms of protest make for good television footage, but result in no real change. In Australia, Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce dismissed the protesters’ climate concerns, saying “we’ve got to make a buck.” This is how terrorism begins. Social or political groups who think they have a legitimate grievance may petition for redress from their government, but are ignored, shut out or arrested. If they can’t achieve the desired results by legitimate means, the group will turn to more extreme forms of protest in order to force the government to acknowledge their cause. But unlike demands to avoid mask-wearing or vaccination, failure to address the climate crisis rapidly will result in catastrophic heating of the planet. Citizen demands for climate action have been met in the United States with division, in Australia with denial, in Russia with derision, as well as in China and India with demand for more coal. To environmentalists, this is no surprise. Climate activist groups such as Extinction Rebellion, Blockade Australia and Deep Green Resistance have long argued that the current capitalist system of resource extraction is so embedded in the global political system that governments cannot and will not act to stem the climate crisis, because every nation prefers every other nation to cut emissions first while they continue to accrue profit. The empty speeches at the recent UN climate summit COP26 in Glasgow have proven them correct. … Labelling environmental activists as “terrorists” is a convenient mental shortcut, because law enforcement can brand them as aberrant criminals and arrest them, without considering their motives or addressing their concerns. The “terrorism enhancement,” a legal designation that adds 15 years to the sentence of those convicted of a crime in the U.S., has been applied to environmental activists over and above white supremacists and the anti-abortion movement. To call someone a “terrorist” is to predetermine their guilt under the worst possible assumptions. Droughts are ravaging the US — it’s time to get serious about water recyclingScandals, lies and audiotapes: Kevin McCarthy has principled Republicans squirming But as the world gets hotter, no amount of law enforcement threats will mollify the growing climate rage. The anger and dissatisfaction resulting from government paralysis in the face of the climate crisis will spur those concerned to take more strategic direct actions. Climate activists will soon conclude that, if they are going to be judged like terrorists, that might be the only way to get anything done. Elizabeth L. Chalecki is a professor at the University of Nebraska Omaha, a former research fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and a research chair with Fulbright Canada.

Are Climate Skeptics the Next to be Declared Terrorists?

[End Preface] DHS: Anyone Who Doubts Government Covid-19 Positions is a Seditionist h/t Breitbart; According to a DHS Bulletin, anyone, especially foreigners, who promote Covid or 2020 narratives the Biden administration thinks are false are promoting sedition, which could lead to mass casualty attacks. Date Issued: February 07, 2022 02:00 pm ET View as PDF:  National Terrorism Advisory System Bulletin – February 07, 2022 02:00 pm (pdf, 2 pages, 1.86 MB) Summary of Terrorism Threat to the U.S. Homeland The United States remains in a heightened threat environment fueled by several factors, including an online environment filled with false or misleading narratives and conspiracy theories, and other forms of mis- dis- and mal-information (MDM) introduced and/or amplified by foreign and domestic threat actors. These threat actors seek to exacerbate societal friction to sow discord and undermine public trust in government institutions to encourage unrest, which could potentially inspire acts of violence. Mass casualty attacks and other acts of targeted violence conducted by lone offenders and small groups acting in furtherance of ideological beliefs and/or personal grievances pose an ongoing threat to the nation. While the conditions underlying the heightened threat landscape have not significantly changed over the last year, the convergence of the following factors has increased the volatility, unpredictability, and complexity of the threat environment: (1) the proliferation of false or misleading narratives, which sow discord or undermine public trust in U.S. government institutions; (2) continued calls for violence directed at U.S. critical infrastructure; soft targets and mass gatherings; faith-based institutions, such as churches, synagogues, and mosques; institutions of higher education; racial and religious minorities; government facilities and personnel, including law enforcement and the military; the media; and perceived ideological opponents; and (3) calls by foreign terrorist organizations for attacks on the United States based on recent events. Duration Issued:   February 07, 2022 02:00 pm Expires:   June 07, 2022 02:00 pm Additional Details The primary terrorism-related threat to the United States continues to stem from lone offenders or small cells of individuals who are motivated by a range of foreign and/or domestic grievances often cultivated through the consumption of certain online content. The convergence of violent extremist ideologies, false or misleading narratives, and conspiracy theories have and will continue to contribute to a heightened threat of violence in the United States. Key factors contributing to the current heightened threat environment include: The proliferation of false or misleading narratives, which sow discord or undermine public trust in U.S. government institutions: For example, there is widespread online proliferation of false or misleading narratives regarding unsubstantiated widespread election fraud and COVID-19. Grievances associated with these themes inspired violent extremist attacks during 2021. Malign foreign powers have and continue to amplify these false or misleading narratives in efforts to damage the United States. Continued calls for violence directed at U.S. critical infrastructure; soft targets and mass gatherings; faith-based institutions, such as churches, synagogues, and mosques; institutions of higher education; racial and religious minorities; government facilities and personnel, including law enforcement and the military; the media; and perceived ideological opponents: Foreign terrorist organizations and domestic threat actors continue to amplify pre-existing false or misleading narratives online to sow discord and undermine public trust in government institutions. Some of these actors do so to encourage unrest, which could lead to acts of violence against the facilities, individuals, institutions, and organizations cited above. Violent extremists inspired by a range of grievances and ideologies continue to target crowded venues traditionally perceived to be soft targets, such as commercial and publicly accessible facilities, public gatherings, certain government and state facilities, and houses of worship. The recent attack on a synagogue in Colleyville, Texas highlights the continuing threat of violence based upon racial or religious motivations, as well as threats against faith-based organizations. Threats directed at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and other colleges and universities, Jewish facilities, and churches cause concern and may inspire extremist threat actors to mobilize to violence. As COVID-19 restrictions continue to decrease nationwide, increased access to commercial and government facilities and the rising number of mass gatherings could provide increased opportunities for individuals looking to commit acts of violence to do so, often with little or no warning. Meanwhile, COVID-19 mitigation measures—particularly COVID-19 vaccine and mask mandates—have been used by domestic violent extremists to justify violence since 2020 and could continue to inspire these extremists to target government, healthcare, and academic institutions that they associate with those measures. Domestic violent extremists have also viewed attacks against U.S. critical infrastructure as a means to create chaos and advance ideological goals, and have recently aspired to disrupt U.S. electric and communications critical infrastructure, including by spreading false or misleading narratives about 5G cellular technology. Some domestic violent extremists have continued to advocate for violence in response to false or misleading narratives about unsubstantiated election fraud. The months preceding the upcoming 2022 midterm elections could provide additional opportunities for these extremists and other individuals to call for violence directed at democratic institutions, political candidates, party offices, election events, and election workers. A small number of threat actors are attempting to use the evacuation and resettlement of Afghan nationals following the U.S. military withdrawal from Afghanistan last year as a means to exacerbate long-standing grievances and justify attacks against immigrants. Calls by foreign terrorist organizations for attacks on the United States based on recent events: Foreign terrorist organizations will likely continue to maintain a highly visible online presence to attempt to inspire U.S.-based individuals to engage in violent activity. Supporters of foreign terrorist organizations have encouraged copycat attacks following the January 15, 2022 attack on a synagogue in Colleyville, Texas. Foreign terrorists remain intent on targeting the United States and U.S. persons, and may seek to capitalize on the evolving security environment overseas to plot attacks. The Islamic State of Iraq and ash-Sham (ISIS) or its affiliates may issue public calls for retaliation due to the strike that recently killed ISIS leader Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi. How We Are Responding DHS and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) continue to share timely and actionable information and intelligence with the broadest audience possible. This includes sharing information and intelligence with our partners across every level of government and in the private sector. We conduct recurring threat briefings with private sector and state, local, tribal, territorial, and campus partners, including to inform security planning efforts. DHS remains committed to working with our partners to identify and prevent all forms of terrorism and targeted violence, and to support law enforcement efforts to keep our communities safe. DHS’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis established a new, dedicated domestic terrorism branch to produce the sound, timely intelligence needed to counter related threats. The Department expanded its evaluation of online activity as part of its efforts to assess and prevent acts of violence, while ensuring the protection of privacy, civil rights, and civil liberties. DHS’s Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships (CP3) provides communities with resources and tools to help prevent individuals from radicalizing to violence. In 2021, CP3 awarded about $20 million in grants through its Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention Grant Program. CP3 also partners with local communities to raise awareness about how to prevent violence. In 2021, DHS designated domestic violent extremism as a “National Priority Area” within its Homeland Security Grant Program HSGP), resulting in at least $77 million being spent on preventing, preparing for, protecting against, and responding to related threats. In 2021, DHS’s Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) provided $180 million in funding to support target hardening and other physical security enhancements to non-profit organizations at high risk of terrorist attack. DHS is working with public and private sector partners, as well as foreign counterparts, to identify and evaluate MDM, including false or misleading narratives and conspiracy theories spread on social media and other online platforms that endorse or could inspire violence. DHS’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) works with public and private sector partners – including U.S. critical infrastructure owners and operators – to mitigate risk against our cyber and physical infrastructure and increase nationwide cybersecurity resilience. Source: https://www.dhs.gov/ntas/advisory/national-terrorism-advisory-system-bulletin-february-07-2022 The sheer absurdity of this hardline position is illustrated by the changing narrative on the origins of Covid-19. In 2020, Dr. Fauci dismissed claims Covid-19 leaked from a lab. … Anthony Fauci, the U.S.’s top infectious disease expert, was dismissive of the theory of an accidental escape. “A group of highly qualified evolutionary virologists looked at the sequences in bats as they evolve. The mutations that it took to get to the point where it is now are totally consistent with a jump of a species from an animal to a human,” he said Friday in the White House press briefing in response to a reporter’s question on the theory. … Read more: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2020/04/18/trump-us-investigating-whether-coronavirus-spread-china-lab/5158551002/ In 2021, Fauci admitted he had an “open mind”; … Dr. Anthony Fauci on Wednesday again pushed back on criticism he “deliberately suppressed” the theory that Covid-19 originated in a lab in Wuhan, China, claiming he’s always kept an “open mind” about how the virus first spread—but a review of his comments over the last year shows the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, like other scientists, has become more open to other theories even as he continues to assert, like the majority of scientists, that the virus likely came about naturally … Read more: https://www.forbes.com/sites/jackbrewster/2021/06/16/heres-what-dr-fauci-has-said-about-covids-origins-and-the-lab-leak-theory/ This growing uncertainty about the official position led to Facebook hilariously announcing in April 2020 that members are now permitted to discuss the lab leak hypothesis. Facebook had previously been vigorously censoring such posts. … In light of ongoing investigations into the origin of COVID-19 and in consultation with public health experts, we will no longer remove the claim that COVID-19 is man-made or manufactured from our apps. We’re continuing to work with health experts to keep pace with the evolving nature of the pandemic and regularly update our policies as new facts and trends emerge. … Read more: https://about.fb.com/news/2020/04/covid-19-misinfo-update/#removing-more-false-claims How are we meant to interpret the DHS bulletin? Are seditionists who promoted lab leak theories in early 2020 now forgiven, because official positions have changed? Or are they still considered seditionists, because they promoted the lab leak theory during a time the official position was that the lab leak theory was an unfounded conspiracy theory? Is Facebook guilty of sedition, because they changed their censorship policy before Fauci officially softened his position on the origin of Covid-19? The situation would be hilarious if it wasn’t so serious. People should be free to express their opinion, no matter how outlandish. Otherwise, how are we better than Communist China? How will we ever learn the truth, when the government gets it wrong?

Taxpayer-Funded CRAZY: Public Radio Co-Produced New Yorker ‘Eco-Terrorism’ Propaganda

https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/business/joseph-vazquez/2021/09/27/taxpayer-funded-crazy-public-radio-co-produced-new-yorker By Joseph Vazquez A subsidiary of a taxpayer-funded radio organization co-produced a podcast segment with the liberal New Yorker magazine that actually promoted “eco-terrorism.” WNYC Studios co-produced an eco-extremist segment with The New Yorker that was headlined, “How to Blow Up a Pipeline.” The segment, headed up by magazine editor David Remnick, was the nexus of the entire Sept. 24 edition of The New Yorker Radio Hour. The podcast had an asinine headline: “Should the Climate Movement Embrace Sabotage?” Remnick fear-mongered how “the effects of climate change are already here and they’re catastrophic” before it gave a platform to the crazy views of Lund University Human Geography Professor Andreas Malm. “‘I am recommending that the [climate] movement continues with mass action and civil disobedience, but also opens up for property destruction,’” Malm said. “So, I am in favor of destroying machines, property.” WNYC listed at least 66 radio stations where the podcast could be heard across the U.S. and abroad. WNYC Studios is a subsidiary of the taxpayer-funded New York Public Radio (WNYC), a member station of National Public Radio. “How to Blow up a Pipeline” is the title for Malm’s latest book. Remnick pushed how Malm wants “environmental activists to rethink their commitment to nonviolence and embrace tactics of sabotage.” Malm boasted how he was part of a Swedish eco-group in 2007 that deflated “thousands” of SUVs in rich neighborhoods to discourage their usage and had the audacity to say it was a mere “inconvenience” to owners and “not property destruction.” Malm said his book was a “call for escalation,”or “a call for the movement” to “move away from an exclusive focus on polite, gentle and perfectly peaceful civil disobedience.” It got worse. “I think property can be destroyed in all manner of ways, or it can be neutralized in a very gentle fashion, as when we deflated the SUVs, or in a more spectacular fashion as in potentially blowing up a pipeline that’s under construction,” Malm spewed. Malm said “most social movements that have struggled against overwhelming odds” have “diversified and used a number of different tactics” like property destruction and confrontation with the police.” He praised the Marxist Black Lives Matter riots in 2020 for causing “tremendous property destruction” and “conquering and burning down police stations in Minneapolis”. He called the riots an “integral part of [the] uprising.” Climate Depot founder and “Green Fraud” author Marc Morano excoriated The New Yorker for pushing “eco-terrorism” in comments to the MRC: “The New Yorker appears to be joining the growing movement of green activists endorsing intimidation and coercion to achieve environmental and climate goals.” He continued: “Many environmental activists seem to be asking themselves why not use violence and threats of violence to achieve their ends.” Morano said that “[t]his era of COVID mandate coercion may be further radicalizing environmental and climate activists to get the same attention as the COVID.”
